Mumbo jumbo
1. I've been promoted! So that's good. I'll be moving to Tennessee. So that's different. And I'm pretty sure I have to be in the position for two years before I can move anywhere else. So that's going to be a challenge. I'm so excited and nervous. I'm kind of worried that I won't be as awesome a manager as I hope to be, but only time will tell. I'm not too concerned about dealing with people so much as dealing with policies and paperwork and all the technicalities.
2. I've been eating a lot. Emotional and bored eating. Gah. It doesn't help that I've been on vacation for the past two and half weeks which basically translates to me sitting on my ass and marathoning various tv shows. I think I'm going to invest in p90 or something. The challenge will be sticking with it, but I figure if I spend over $100 on something I'll frakking stick with it.
3. I still haven't seen Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows part 1. :[
4. I haven't done graphics in ages. I know for sure I've lost my touch. I miss making icons and such. Hopefully with this promotion, I'll get a better computer (the laptop I'm using now is over ten years old!) that will run way better and learn me some Photoshop. (I've been a long time PSP user... I tried Photoshop briefly and was boggled by how to do various techniques.)
That's my life then. I'm mostly a lurker on LJ now.
