So I'm WELL overdue for an update by now. A lot has happened but I won't summarize it all. That would bore me and I lived it. I'll give a top ten most dramatic/climactic episodes that have occurred lately.
10. Decided what I'm gonna be for Halloween this year and what I'm doing, instead of deciding last minute what to wear and waiting for friends to form a drunken coalition in someone's dorm room as my entertainment for the night. I will be downtown, at the Toshi party with Greg, Olivia, Chris, Nathalia, Karisa (?), and my big sister! :) Stoked for her to come visit over Halloween.
9. Tried bubble tea tonight. Dunno if I'm so pro that. It's the big straw that throws me. I sucked up one of those lil tapioca pearls so fast that it was practically in my nasal cavity and thus, had to be haucked out. Ew.
8. Celebrated Greg turning 21 tonight. Liv, Karisa, Nathalia, Rach and I greeted him at the elevator singing and with a cake we iced and spelled his name on in candy. (G= candy pumpkins, R= pull n peel twizzlers, E= kit-kat bars, G= gummy savers) It was a BEAUTIFUL thing to say the least. And to state the obvious - DAMN. We're getting older. Fast.
7. Sang in really fun/good/well-attended (Thanks to all!) acappella study break featuring a guys group from Williams College, The Williams Octet. Anj and I were the liquor patrol for the afterparty and damn we did a good job! (see numbers 6 and 5)
6. Got stuck in Harlem with Anjuli, outside the grocery store where we'd just bought mixers for the hundred dollars worth of liquor we'd just bought. When we realized we just couldn't carry it all home ourselves, we yoinked a shopping cart and carted it all home :)
5. Lost said shopping cart after pushing it up the street and moving the entire afterparty, parade-style to Zeta Psi, when the first site got broken up.
4. Watched my eldest cousin get married yesterday. Kind of a rough ceremony, but a great reception. The videographer loved Amanda and I :)
3. Was finally told something good about my pictures by my photography professor. He actually called two of them interesting. He said he was glad I'd finally risked something by putting something up there that mattered to me. Phew! Two more weeks before I have to freak again!
2. Committed my efforts to going to Australia for study abroad next semester and started the app and choosing classes and stuff. Woot!
1. Accepted forms of communication from Nat, and reciprocated, therefore abandoning the "pee pee stars" incentive program. (I know some of you are prolly going - "the WHAT?") We all have to handle breakups in our own way - and not speaking to him at all, acting like he has just vanished - is just not my way. It doesn't work for me.
I'm tired and life goes on. I'm sure I'll have a new list soon. May your own top ten be exciting and filled with new experiences in the coming days. Goodnight.
