Nabbed off of Peaches LJ.

If your life was a movie, what would the soundtrack be?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing; for extra cool points, add descriptions.
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
7. When you're finished tag some other people to do it!

Opening Credits
- Furniture by Final Fantasy
“Try, try, try to arrange me,
There’s no ramance in my blood.
Try, try, you’ll never persuade me,
My only tears fall with the rain.”
[Very upbeat and perfect for the opening credits. I see bustling citylife. Preferably in London.]

Waking up
- Skeptics and True Believers by the Academy Is
“Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?
'Cause I wouldn't believe you if you said the same to me.
Near death, last breath, and barely hanging on.
Would you believe me if I said I didn't need you?”
[Not exactly the happiest thing to wake up to. I imagine that my character just woke up in bed in the morning to discover their love gone.]

My Theme Song
- Waiting for the Night by Depeche Mode
“There is a star in the sky,
Guiding my way with its light.
And in the glow of the moon,
Know my deliverance will come soon.”

“Been waiting for the night to fall,
I knew that it would save us all.
Now everything's dark,
Keeps us from the stark reality.”
[So about my theme song. I keep wondering if my main character is Batman or something, because that’s who the song reminds me of. Am I Batman?]

First Day of School
- Your Only Escape by Gatsby’s American Dream
“Call me demon,
Call me friend,
Call me anytime.
I will sell you out with the slightest doubt,
Just like your friends did.”

“I didn't find me, you found me,
I hope you got what you wanted.”
[Someone DID NOT have a good first day of school. Maybe made friends with one of those smooth-talking smirky kids who could possibly be the devil.]

Falling in Love
- The World at Large by Modest Mouse
“I like songs about drifters - books about the same.
They both seem to make me feel a little less insane.
Walked on off to another spot,
I still haven't got anywhere that I want.
Did I want love? Did I need to know?
Why does it always feel like I'm caught in an undertow?”
[I’m confused now it seems. Wandering all over. Clearly I’m just not meant for love.]

Fight Song
- Homewrecker by Hellogoodbye
“That makes it hard to lock my doors at night,
Even my fire alarms don't work right.
And as I try to sleep I glance next door,
And all I see is his lips touching yours.
Oh, girl…”
[Ohhh yeah. Typical relationship problems. You’d think this would work better with Breaking Up, but whatever.]

Breaking up
- Nobody Dances Anymore by Brandtson
“You wanna play it safe,
Don't wanna step out.
You gotta pretend so no one finds out.
You gotta break free,
You gotta break out
So everybody knows what you're all about.”
[I honestly don’t understand what’s up with this one. This is more of a uptempo electro dance type song, but maybe the I’m especially glad that whomever I was with is gone?]

Prom
- A Save Situation by the Format
“Open your eyes and let me in,
I swore to god I’d never swear again,
And we all fall down.
Yeah, we all fall down again.”
[Prom was a sad event, people may have died. Who knows?]

Life
- The Ghost of You by My Chemical Romance
“At the end of the world, or the last thing I see,
You are:
Never coming home
Never coming home.
Could I? should I?
And all the things that you never ever told me,
And all the smiles that are ever gonna haunt me,
Never coming home
Never coming home.
Could I? Should I?
And all the wounds that are ever gonna scar me,
For all the ghosts that are never gonna catch me.”
[Okay, seriously. Am I Batman? Because my life has been awful broody so far.]

Driving
- Tiger Rider Vs. The Time Sprinkler! By the Aquabats
“Grab ahold of the lightning bolt and you,
Pull down the lightning.
(Ride the lightning)
Slash all those who do oppose,
Pull down the lightning.
(Ride the lightning)
Slash all those who do oppose,
What!”
[This song is just crazy. Apparently I feel quirky when I drive. In my batmobile. >>]

Flashback
- In the Waiting Line by Zero 7
“Nine to five,
Living lies.
Everyday,
Stealing time.
Everyone's taking everything they can,
Everything they can.”
[Flash to a poor city. Stealing. Sadness. Can we have a cheeful song now?]

Getting Back Together
- Learn How to Keep Your Mouth Shut, Owen Pallett by Final Fantasy
“ All that she wants is a man with a tan,
A mashing pot and matching pan,
A minivan,
As high an income as she can,
Who are you to judge?”
[I don’t think this relationship is going to work out either. Just a guess And I don’t mind a man with a tan. Or pots and pans. But I don’t want a minivan. And I don’t give a damn- about the income. That was awesomely… rhymesque?]

Wedding
- Stuck in a Movie! by the Aquabats
“I think I know, it’s like I’ve seen it all before,
And I think I know,
So please keep quiet don’t spoil the ending.”
[Another crazy song by the Bats. I have a feeling that this wedding is not taken very seriously. DIVORCE ANYBODY? And we all know Batman doesn’t marry. It’s all a lieeee.]

Party
- Heaven is Full by Under the Influence of Giants
“Yesterday I heard heaven was getting full,
And that’s why I have felt so emotional,
Yesterday I heard heaven was getting full,
I hope they do not leave me at the door..”
[I can’t even party without having something a little bitter. Dammit.]

Death Scene
- Devil’s Haircut by Beck
“Something's wrong 'cause my mind is fading,
Ghetto-blasting disintegrating.
Rock 'n' roll, know what I'm saying.
And everywhere I look,
There's a devil waiting.”
[This song IS PERFECT. It’s got a rockin’ beat, I can totally see this going Tarantino style. There is a car chase. There are guns. There are weird lookin’ baddies everywhere. And then an absolutely fabulous crash with explosion included.]

Funeral Song
- Green Eyes by Coldplay
“Green eyes- yeah, the spotlight shines upon you,
And how could anybody deny you.

I came here with a load,
And it feels so much lighter, now I’ve met you.
And honey you should know, that I could never go on without you.”
[That’s right, bitches. You thought you could live without me. BUT YOU CAN’T. Too bad I died heroically in a fiery ball of car and baddie wreckage.]

Ending Credits
- Bulimic by the Used
“I'm about to see a million things I thought I'd never see before,
and I-
I'm about to do all of the things I've dreamed of and-
I don't even miss you at all.”

“Goodbye to you, goodbye to you, you're taking up my time.
Goodbye to you, goodbye to you.”
[This song was oddly appropriate. I seem very optimistic about death. And the afterlife and whatnot. Goodbye, dears.
And screw you. : D]

My life as a movie would be so kick ass.
Pretty depressing at points.
With lots of introspection.
My character generally being alone most of their life because they can’t seem to connect with others.
And a bit of Quentin Tarantino overdone but totally-arm-and-legs-flying-off-awesome violence.
HELLZYEAH.
