Last time we visited the Travellers, their plane had just crash-landed on the islands where Alexandra the pirate lives.
Since then, they've managed to build themself a little hut. It's just like home! Almost.
Trisha attempts to catch breakfast while Trent... relaxes.
"God, here's ANOTHER one of your boots that fell from the plane, Trent!"
Tina is sick of her parents fighting, and takes her frustration out on the doll she made herself from materials from the plane crash and the jungle.
Finally!
Trent apologizes for not helping with breakfast.
Later that night...
Tina lets her parents have some privacy and goes to find a midnight snack.
One morning not long after, Trisha doesn't feel very hungry...
Oh...
Tina helps with gathering food.
Trent does his share too, every now and then.
And then, one day, the Travellers get a visitor.
Trisha begs Alexandra to help them off the island, but Alex is reluctant... She's afraid they'll give away her hiding place.
Tina comes to investigate the situation, too.
She's more than happy to play with Alexandra's wild dog, Ed.
Alexandra is a skilled fisherwoman, and helps catching dinner.
Ed finds Tina's doll...
Ed doesn't care for Trent. Trent admits that dogs have never seemed to like him, for some reason. That appears to apply to wild dogs, as well.
AND wolves.
Trent shares their full story with Alexandra, or at least his side of it... About how he quit his boring police job to seek adventure. She still doesn't agree to get them off the island, though. She says she has to think about it.
Time passes...
Tina is excited to be getting a little brother or sister.
Trent's become better at fishing...
And Alexandra visits regularly. She seems to enjoy their company. Maybe it gets a bit lonely, only living with animals?
It's not always easy to stay fresh and clean in the jungle...
Trisha's happy some of her magazines survived the crash.
Tina really likes Alexandra. She can't believe she's friends with a REAL pirate!
And Trisha... she really likes Alexandra, too.
She wonders how long they can live like this, though. It's not a life fit for her children. Tina needs school and friends her own age, and the baby deserves to be born into a safe environment. Can Trisha convince Alexandra to help them?
