PVST: The Brokes
I'm having a great time playing my new Pleasantview/Strangetown 'hood. :) It's good to just play, and know that I'll get back to the families again soon, instead of in several months. The uberhood really is quite... huge, especially when you set out to make over EVERYTHING. Now I'm just building as I go along, and enjoying myself. Also, rebuilding my downloads folder. I put things in as I miss or need them, so I don't just go rabid with 'ooooh, this is cool, and this, and this, and this'.
Anyway, I thought I'd share some pictures!
I made a little, more proper trailer park around the Brokes' house, using those that came with AL to fill in the space a little bit. I have no pictures of these makeovers yet, except of the Broke house itself, but you can see them in the background a bit.

I didn't give many of the sims makeovers yet, partially because most of them had little money left, partially because I'd spent a long time making over their houses and just felt like playing. There's no need to rush.
Score. Darren was the sole member of the welcome wagon. (I have hacks that affect who's in the WW.) He and Brandi have two bolts, which could easily be three with some minor turn ons/offs modification.
Dustin, of course, brings Angela home from school, and ACR has them share their first kiss in his room.
Darren seems distressed. Maybe Dustin is telling him to stay away from his mum.
Brandi is pregnant. SHOCKING. The twins family benefit made sure there's two in there. That always happens when I play her. Every time.
WAAAAH.

Ah, sims. Always passing out two millimeters from the bed.
And then it was Beau's birthday. He learned all his toddler skills (minus nursery rhyme) just in time.
I brought back Skip's grave, and put it out back where the pool he drowned in used to be. Dustin misses his dad. :(
The trailer again, slightly refurnished. It's getting pretty cramped in there. Will be hard to fit in two more babies. Maybe I should get some of those 1-tile cribs.
