BLAH
So, my resolution to post more hasn't gone very well so far. I've had a couple of weeks of general burnout, both work- and Sims-wise.
Then, on Thursday, while I was playing the Ramirez house, the game crashed while I was saving. Boom.
And when I tried to reload the 'hood, it crashed again. Broken. Bummer.
I saw that there was some garbage in the Characters folder, so I restored only that from backup (since all I'd been doing since last time was building). It worked. But only for a little while... Today, it did the same thing again, twice. So yeah, that version is a lost cause, it seems. I'll try the full older backup from earlier this week, but if the same thing happens again, I don't know what I'll do. :/ Losing work and having an unstable 'hood makes me very unhappy, and that itch to Start Everything Over goes into overdrive. But goddamn, I've worked so so hard on this version of the uberhood, so many makeovers, so many hours... If this neighbourhood is broken, I don't think I can start over again.
