New Uberhoodia: Downtown Community Lots Makeovers 5: Entertainment

Jan 03, 2011 21:28

Okay, here's the last batch of the downtown community lots. This is everything that didn't fit into the other categories. Bowling alleys, Internet café, spa, card shacks, etc.

Oh, and the silly looking art museum, which I didn't really change very much.

Modern Art Museum is another strange maxis lot, imo...I don't know if I will touch it because of the serious risk I'll put it all down :P

I like the smooth changes you did on Lucky Shack. It's more "brigther" and that exterior wall gives it a more cozy look. (I still don't like the way those bathrooms are..I will put them down :P)

You definitely gave the true meaning of "pool and SPA" at the Maple Springs and, I admire you for doing that without destroying the original lot, like I did :P

I also took of that ridiculous roof on the columns at Rodney's Hideout..but, you "beat me" with that funcky ground :P

My SimBowl Lanes also lost that "usuful" 2nd floor and gain more light too, like yours :)

I never seen Speedy's Fast Bowling before..I agree with you, that 2nd floor is dispensable and, loved your wall choice for the exterior - it's much better!

Your Sugar Cube Bowling it's so much better now! I liked your idea of the food station instead of the disco place :) When I "makeovered" this lot, I had to took of the 2nd floor :P

Ok, nice to see your post meetme! It was a pleasant 5min work break :) Hope you don't mind my long comment and the way I do them...sometimes I get a little excited :)

Hope you have a nice day!

Hah. I just added some lights and more/different paintings and sculptures, fixed a couple of places where EAxis forgot to add wallpaper, stuff like that.

Aw, I kinda like the bathrooms. :) Lucky Shack is one of my favourite downtown lots, the poker tables is a good way for sims to meet, and the smallness of the lot makes things run smoothly and prevents my sims from having to trek across a huge lot and up a story or two to greet another sim.

It was hard working with those buildings at Maple Springs, particularly the roundish one. It still feels a bit cramped out back where the pools are.

I took off most of the second floors that didn't do anything (or I put stuff in them, in some cases). Sugar Cube Bowling was the second lot I made over and I decided to keep the second story. Not sure if I like it or not, but it looks kinda neat from inside with the camera angled up.

I don't mind long comments! As long as you don't mind long replies. :) Thank you for all your kind words. <3
