Hello again.

Thank you for your information! That should be plenty. Don't worry about the NID (neighbourhood ID) thing, it might not be called that, I mix up the terms a bit sometimes and it's been a few months since I did anything indepth in SimPE.

Doesn't surprise me that he's not the first baby, that's why I wanted to know the instance actually, because I've been keeping an eye on Chastity's family tree in case the instance ID of the missing grandparent showed up, but hadn't had any luck yet.

To fix in SimPE you need to not look at the relationship panel, but select the thing in the left-hand menu called 'Family Ties'. Then find Chastity's father in the "Default" family. The baby should show up in his tree. Just remove him, commit and save. I can provide a screenshot later if you can't find it.

I don't think you told me about Jill Smith... Hrm, that's not good. Had you played the neighbourhood much before you got to their house? It's possible something happened along the way. I haven't seen any wants like that myself, but I'll keep an eye out. Does she have a memory of meeting herself?

I did know about the LTWs of Daniel Bell and Pauline Aspir. This is another EAxis fail, and I couldn't figure out how to get rid of them in SimPE, only change them, so I left them as is. They do no harm, and you can change them when they become teens, like you said.

Thanks for your info!

Thanks, I got him taken care of. He was listed as 'parent B'. If I count correctly, I have thirty-eight born-in-game sims at the moment, and it looks like the Aspir tot in question might be around number 25, which is probably why the issue hasn't shown up for other folks. I guess I like sim babies, and I definitely like the triplets-and-quads hack!
Going through my 5,000-odd photos, it looks like while I'd played Veronaville and some of Pleasantview, Jill had never followed anyone home on the school bus (unlike Violet Joque, who followed EVERYBODY). I usually get a picture of who comes over. Jill might have shown up on a community lot, however. She doesn't have a memory of meeting herself as far as I remember, but I do wipe corrupt and trash memories with the batbox so I may have lost it if she did. Looking at the dates on the pictures, I started the hood in mid-September (after frying my old hard drive) and got to the Smith household October 8th and 9th, which was the fourth house played in Strangetown.
