The Uberhood is a lot of fun, but it's a little hard to play so many sims. It takes so long between the houses, especially since we're doing 5 days in each. We're still just half-way through playing the first "round". Some houses I love, others feel uninspiring.
Oaketown continues to be fun to build, although I'm still trying to connect with the sims. It's a slow work in process. A very, very different thing from the Uberhood.
The BACC is pretty much on hold for the moment. It's okay, we "beat" the challenge long ago, anyway.
Thing is, I'm still itching to do a story of some sort.
I've no idea what about, though. Pleasantly Strange sort of... died a bit. It kept slowing down and I now can't find the inspiration to take the pictures for the remaining chapter or two. I feel bad about it. Perhaps I could write something to wrap it up, without pictures. It's pretty obvious where it would be going, I guess. Bleh.
I'd like to do something new, also with Maxis characters. Something small and contained. Pleasantview and Strangetown have been done to death. Veronaville a bit, too. Maybe a collection of short stories. Riverblossom Hills? A smaller combined 'hood? I don't know. There's too many characters I like. But I can't do them all, it would be too much.
Maybe this will all go away in the morning, though. Such are the workings of Sim-ADD.
