Round #2: Bluewater Village - Kims, Gieke and Larsons

Aug 16, 2008 10:52

The Kims really are a bit underrated, as far as pre-made EAxis sims go.
They're a lot of fun to play, and their silly house is great.

Plus, they have these two awesome pets, Cheech and Abby.

Now, has anyone noticed that painting on their wall?

Even the collars match! However, our Abby and Cheech quickly became friends instead of enemies.

Robert gives Abby a bath. It was pretty hard to make Robert do anything useful at first, because he kept doing this:

Yeah, yeah, your son didn't get into private school, boohoo. Get over it, try again, and do it right this time!

Robert: Honey, you really do need to get yourself a job... You have to understand that our acting days are over.

Cynthia looks for a job in her retro-space living room. I don't think she found her career of choice this time either, which is something silly, like Celebrity Chef. EVERYONE wants to be a goddamn Celebrity Chef.

That's okay, though, she can stay at home and take care of the pets.

Justin prefers to do his homework outside. In the mud. Maybe that's why he was rejected for private school?

I hope it will go better this time.

Cynthia: Welcome to our home, Mr. Headmaster!

Headmaster: Is that a firetruck?

Cynthia: Never you mind... why don't I give you a tour of not-the-kitchen?

Robert: Um... shit.

Headmaster: Your retro-spacethemedness pleases me!

Justin: Have you seen the kitchen y-

Cynthia: Shh!

Headmaster: Well, you do have a lovely house and a well-behaved son, but this burnt spaghetti leaves something to be desired.

Robert: It's not burnt, it's um... cajun!

Headmaster: Oh, okay. Well, I guess that's okay. See you tomorrow, Justin. In a clean uniform.

Justin: No mud? :(

And now - cat spam:

Cheech owns this street.

Justin plays with his rocket ship. Doesn't something in this room seem a bit out of place?

Justin: Wasn't this toy box a different colour just a moment ago?

A little office space for the Kims. But where is this? There wasn't exactly much room left over in this house...

... so we expanded it. My husband would like to point out that this design was his idea.

A nanny doing something useful instead of baking a billion cakes and clogging the toilet?

Cynthia: Blah I'm dead. Now you try it.

Cheech: ... *sniffsniff* Female-sim-slave? Are you okay? Should I alert Male-sim-slave or Child-sim-slave?

What could Robert and Cynthia be up to lying on the bed together like this?

Oh, I see. They're on to us. Unfortunately, it didn't work. This time...

In a house not far away...

Chester Gieke works on his robots. He's got a weird little house where he lives alone and tries to avoid real people.

...And a giant pond, for some reason. And yes, in order to get inside, Chester had to walk up those stairs, and then his only bathroom and bedroom are downstairs. Eventually we had to add a downstairs door. Yes, it was a cool concept, but sims walk too slowly and are too stupid for a lot of cool concepts.

Chester trying to get his social needs up by chatting online... he's met someone who calls herself 'sororitymonique69' in the chatroom. She wants to meet him. What might their real identity be?

Since Chester doesn't have a job, he has to get money somehow. Townies are surprisingly interested in buying his toy robots.

Not a very eventful two days.

Next, the Larsons.

They don't really... do very much. We have to find them someone to move in with. They eat, go to work...

..and dance all the time. Twins with the music & dance hobby. Whee.

Andrew Martin comes over for a date with Jodie. I don't even remember how they met.

Andrew: This spaghetti is a little burnt...

Jodie: It's not burnt, it's, um... my brother made it, okay?

Andrew's not about to let some burnt spaghetti ruin his date (plus, he doesn't need any new sim to cook for him, he's got his creepy old not-quite-aunts that he lives with).

Heehee, they're cute.

Jason wants to be a great police officer (re: Captain Hero), while his sister wants to reach top of Medical. How noble!

A date for Jason. I don't remember how we got them together, either. She might've just walked by. This is Terri, and she's a randomly generated Garden Club sim.

Jason charms her with his dance moves. And then changes into his pyjamas and goes to bed.

We had to get him back out of bed about three times before we could get him to end the date with dignity.

Well, sort of. It was a good date, but getting him together with a townie wasn't what we had in mind. Who's a good match for Jason Larson?

old stuff, gieke, old megahood, larson, bluewater village, kim
