I want to go to a con....
Happy belated birthday to myself~! Haha. This year has actually been really uneventful. I don't seem to do much to celebrate for my birthday. In fact, I believe that last year was the first birthday party I had in three years or so. I think I avoid them because it seems like something always goes wrong with them, no matter how hard I plan. Oh well.
Want to know how I celebrated this year? I studied. Not just like sort of studied, like studied my ass of for close to two weeks straight. BioChem has been kicking my butt and I was determined to do well on this exam. I haven't gotten my exam back, but I feel like I did okay. We'll see. I'll try to let everyone know. My exam was at 6:00 pm though, and it got out at 8:00pm. But it wasn't so bad. Mark and I went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. It was yummy. ^___^ And I have leftovers in the fridge.
So, it is official. I'm going to Korea~! I leave April 29th and return May 18th. Here is my flight schedule:
Not only that, but Missy and I will be traveling to Beijing, China for 4 days and Tokyo, Japan for 2! It's not a lot of time, but I'M GOING~! I have to strategically plan out everything that I want to do, where I want to go, where I want to eat, where I want to shop....etc. In fact, any of you on my f-list that has gone to any of these places, please recommend some places for me to go and see!
I'm currently working on getting a camera. That's my birthday present to myself. I'm thinking that I want to get a Canon. I think that's the best thing for me. I hated my Kodak, and I want a nice camera that will take great pictures. Mark also said that he would help me get and iPhone for my birthday! :X Wheeeeeeee. iphonnnnneeeeee.....
Also, I spoke with Dr. Mounger and he as agreed to let me shadow him during the summer when he goes to the Farmer's Market. I'm excited about this because it'll be some more hands on experience. My godfather, Uncle Kevin (he's not my Uncle, but we call him that) said that it was okay if I came up there during the last part of May. I still have yet to heard back from Dr. Peterson (Brady's Uncle...or cousin? Something like that.....), but hopefully I'll be able to shadow him a bit too this summer. Then I still have the cruise and two weddings! Crazy! I'm going to be completely booked this summer.
What else....I really want to go to Anime Weekend Atlanta this year. We've missed it two years in a row now, and we always have fun there. TsuShiMaMiRe, The Captains, and The Emeralds were all there again last year. Uggghhhh.....Hopefully they will be there this year too? <3 Either way, I desperately need to go to a con. I want to do our L'Arc~en~Ciel Smile cosplay again. We had so much fun! I don't think we can do Maple Gunman for awhile because Missy cut her hair. But that's okay, it's probably time to retire that Cosplay anyways. But we can keep doing Kakusei Heroism and we'll totally keep doing the Kigurumi's. I need to start thinking of more bands that we should cosplay. We still want to do the female version of DBSK's Balloons. :DDD Haha. I totally claimed Shim ChangMin. Missy claimed JaeJoong and I don't remember who Michelle claimed. I think she wanted to bo the rabbit which means she would be YooChun. I'd like to maybe try to do a SuG cosplay. Probably from Alterna., but that might be hard with hair. Hahaha. We like cosplays with hats so that we can hide hair. :P
Well, I have to run off to BioChem. I guess that's all for now. <3
