I am so excited. This was great (oh Helena... I just want to hug her. Helena fought the terrifying wave of panic that threatened to overtake her, monstrous walls of water washing away everything in their path.).

LOL. You're rather awesome, yourself! Thank you for those lovely words of encouragement! I felt that Helena got somewhat short shrift last story, so this one will be much more about her. I must admit to being fascinated at the mind of a woman encased in bronze to 100 years...the hold on her sanity must be tenuous at best.

Oooooh dear - I'm rather frightened and extremely enthralled all at the same time. The image of the fire was REALLY vivid, and the description of Myka and HG together like that, well, that was just heaven. :) Can't wait for more! Will there be sexytiemz? *bats eyelashes hopefully*

Ooofffhh, like a kick to the gut. I liked it. HG's musings were properly angsty and Myka was cuddly and irresistible. It's a nice addendum to 'Thumbs,' I look forward to reading more though this little piece by itself is quite nice. :)
