Intro Note: I figured everyone has had enough "creepy spooky blah blah" for a while, so I thought I'd make something fun!  There were actually 2 things I wanted to post, but since this is a Myka/HG community and the other thing didn't have a damn thing to do with Myka, just HG, I figured I'd just post it in my journal.  It's sure to be a ton old Read more... )

Very, VERY well written. You hold a great command of language in this story and use it well. I can't even begin to say how impressed I am by this. Wonderful descriptions, just enough to entice but not to reveal too much. It's so wonderfully passionate, even though it's short. Very, very well done. This is quality writing. Write some original stuff and get published stat, girl.

I'm glad that you really enjoyed it. I had read a story by someone who was trying to break away from always writing in past tense and I thought to myself that I ought to totally give it a try. I'm glad it was so well received, and I'll try to do more! ^_^

Thanks always for the continuing support.
~'Tater Salad thanks you!~

I am completely blown away by this. The descriptions and the poetic language. Beautiful, utterly and completely beautiful.

Sweet nothings whisper from one ear to the other, with only the two candles holding witness.
This line especially sticks out. Just fantastic.

Oh my gosh, thank-you! It means a lot to me, since my inner critic is always telling me I'm never *quite* good enough lol

I'm glad you liked that line, especially since it wasn't in the original version. But then I realized that I really needed a bit of sweet to offset the spice. So I guess it was a good choice! ^_^

Dude, THIS is why we must collab, seriously. If I think your writing is awesome and you think MY writing is awesome, think of how many minds we'd blow TOGETHER!! Yes, I vote for exploding brains and Claudia screaming 'Not on my iPod.... ew!' (Um... coffee's working, lol.)

I could not agree more! When you've come out of Coffee rehab, this SO needs to happen. And tell Claudia not to worry, her precious iPod will be spared...maybe! lol

~'Tater Salad has a headache. The 'Tater is angry with her brain! :-(~

My Godness... this is POETRY, my friend. I'm fascinated...Phrases like this one: "The room is filled with warmth, perfumed by the unseen censor of lust" makes me (crafty)smile like a child when gets a new brilliant toy. You know... my mind see the whole scene and I'm at the office now ! I'm probably blushed ... but happy ! haha KEEP DOING IT!

It's always so nice getting reviews from you, and thank-you for the compliments! I must confess that the line you picked out was actually inspired by the master of misery. I thought it was a nice little twist. I hope you didn't blush too much in the office!

I have a dummy-doubt ! What is the master of misery? :'( haha I'm probably having a translation-confusion (I'm looking for a literal translation in my mind and we probably have another words to name it) . I prefer to ask ! :-*

Oh my bad! I'm sorry, I should have just used his name. The Master of Misery is just a nickname for Edgar Allen Poe. Have you ever read any of his work? He is a very cryptic poet and writter.
