2011 Christmas Episode HG Wells comments
I think I caught some inconsistency/hope about HG Wells in last night's Christmas Episode. If you haven't seen it, perhaps you should not read any further. SPOILER ALERT AHEAD!
When Pete is held in Artie's office and interrogated by the two Goons/Agents and MacPherson he says this:
INT. ARTIE’S OFFICE, WAREHOUSE 13 MOMENTS LATER
Pete is handcuffed and interrogated by strange agents and MacPherson.
PETE
(yelling accusations about MacPherson)
He blew up the umbilicus with Artie in it! He freed H.G. Wells!
She tried to blow up the world!
So, this episode must be set after the end of Season 2. How else would Pete know this? Still this is fine. We sort of expected that it would be set in Season 3. The interesting comment happens later when Pete is talking to Myka.
EXT. HILLS BEHIND WAREHOUSE 13, UNIVILLE, SD NIGHT
Pete and Myka are trying to find the back entrance to Warehouse 13.
PETE
I know there’s an exit here. He used it to smuggle out
H.G. Wells.
MYKA
Why do you keep talking about him?
PETE
(giving Myka a strange look)
H.G. Wells is a woman. You guys are best pals! She gave
you her grappler.
MYKA
(annoyed)
You know what, just stop talking.
PETE
More like Myka every minute.
Pete pretty much hated H.G. Wells in season 3. Why would he say that she and Myka were best pals unless he knew what happened in the season finale? Then again, if H.G. is dead, why would he use present tense?
It seems like Season 3 Pete would've been more accusing of HG and not used the "BFF line"
Could this mean there's hope for HG Wells return? (wishful thinking)

Ps. Can I just say how i absolutely HATE LiveJournal! This formatting sucks!
