“A-ha!” Eddie McClintock cried, lowering his camera phone. “I told you I’d get a picture of Jaime Murray looking un-swoon-worthy!”
“And me, right?” Joanne asked. “You had to work really hard to take a bad photo of me too?”
“Yes. Of course.” Eddie looked at his phone. “What the… Jaime, you look-”
“Ravishing,” Jaime finished. “I know.”
“How is that possible!? I took you completely by surprise! Well, at least I have proof that you two are dating. Maybe now Jack will believe that I’m not the one leaving a sex funk in the prop department.”
“Oh really?” Jaime asked with a smile. “Look again.”
Eddie looked down at his phone once more. “What? A… priest drinking vodka? Where’s Jo? How’d you do that?”
“Oh, I feed on the sexual frustration of millions of fangirls and use it to power my dark magicks. But don’t you worry your pretty little head about that. On your way now, I have candy corn in the foyer.”
“Still onto you!” Eddie said as he backed up.
“And I mixed in some pumpkin candies.”
“You win this round.”
