Surprise visitor
Last Tuesday I had a surprise visit from none other than Shelly's mom (Gail, who I'm sure you all know of course). I didn't even know she was in town. It was great to see her and catch up.
They lured me out in a very creative way. Bob, her husband, called me and said that he was visiting from Missouri and a friend had a package that needed to be delivered to the lab. He said that he was lost and couldn't find the genetics building. After he assured me that it was not a large package, I agreed to meet him in the zoo and pick it up. He described what he was wearing and I went to meet him. As I approached him, he said that it wasn't necessarily a package and pointed at Gail who came out of hiding and onto the walk. It was a great surprise and a beautiful day to walk around the zoo.
Gotta run and take care of children!
