I'm pretty content right now. This weekend was pretty good; the weather was amazing and insane and beautiful and breathtaking. Driving back home to Shoreline involved lots of rain, lots of hail, and lots of seeing the actual lightning boats and feeling it rumble in the car...
So I actually missed all that storm when I was outside this weekend.
I was called by a boy to come to a pick up game at Denny Field and that was pretty fun(scored twice) but my throws are really out of shape. I didn't mean to actually play or run or anything on friday but I couldn't pass up a good pick up game. I then went with three frisbee boys to dinner(one was the guy who called me, Chris from Chicago, one was Spencer from Edmonds Pick up, and Spencers friend Daniel from ENUF). Afterwards we went up and checked out Spencers dorm room in McMahon North, and then mine in McMahon South.
When I came back my clustermates Julie and Shannon were watching the end of First whatever with Katie Holmes and we were extremely bored, so we went to a really yummy Indian restaurant for dinner. When we came back we tried to find stuff to do but besides watching some guys play risk or haning out with the 'high' cluster boys so we ended up watching Much Ado About Nothing in my room with Julie's laptop and our R.A. Laine joined us.
Well I woke up early saturday morning(by early nine am) and went to the first women's ultimate practice. It was amazing. They are so skilled and I'll learn so much more than what I know already. They seem like a really great group of girls too and there are a lot of new freshman so there's going to be plenty of opportunities to make new friends. I'm also a bit excited for the intense conditioning later on.
Then as soon as I came back I went canoeing with my 'floor' but really it was only three other guys and my R.A. and I was in a canoe with some nice boys from fourth south who were quite interesting. This was all before the weather broke 'cause I came back and was in my room for a while and by the time Linnea called to pick me up it was pouring and absolutely grey outside. Gorgeous.
Home was nice. The food. The family. The dog definitely being more excited about my sister WHO LIVES THERE being there than me. The pumpkin pie. The bath. Definitely relaxing.
Today I came back 'home' to my dorm room and have just been hanging out, talking to people, participating in open cluster night, studying (*Gasp*), being visited by ALISON!!! out of the blue, eating dinner with Nick while doing Calculus and dealing with his 'good at life' and 'your mom' comments. He says he isn't saying it much 'cause he doesn't know people well enough to start acting like his normal self.

So defintely a good weekend. Right now I'm trying to figure out what pictures I need to print out to adorn my walls. I can't seem to commit to a poster. Like nothing matters enough to me to put it on my wall. Maybe some day I'll find the perfect poster, until then...

Oh and also. I'm lame. I'm pretty sure my sister's going to get her first kiss before me, unless I'm randomly kissed in the next 12 days...which would be odd.
But I'm excited for her! (also..if that boy hurts her in any way I'm breaking his head)

And most spiritual, soulful moment. Enjoying the rainbow stretching from beyond university village into the lake. As soon as I ran and got my camera it was gone with just a peek of it from behind a cloud.
I hope its a good week.
