So this week was pretty eventful.

On Saturday we got our new exchange student Hanna! She's quiet but is HILARIOUS at really random times(Apples to Apples...she's amazing at that game!)

Saturday Night I went with Sophia and Co. to Brothers Grimm which was actually pretty good.
Well it might have been monday or Sunday but I had Mickey, Alice and Amy Lin, Linnea, Sara Hefny, and I to play Apples to Apples. We were laughing sooo hard because Linnea was definitely a failure at that game. She kept putting bad stuff down (like Whoopi Goldberg as huggable) and expecting to win...I really need that game for college
Monday I went to XC and ran with Emma and Michelle. I really love those girls! Emma was my favorite person to run with last year (Alex came in second) 'cause Michelle was too fast, but Michelle is definitely MY freshman(I think I share her with Mickey).
Tuesday I did some hardcore exercising of my own..but it was by myself. I don't really remember what else happened. But one thing was for sure...I was SORE.
So Mickey called and asked me to go hiking on wednesday at Mt. Pilchuck, so I did! And it was with Michael, Mickey, and Emily Handley(back from college in New Orleans). I think now Emily's going to find somewhere in Washington to go to school until Tulane is open again.
So we did some amazing hiking and made some amazing mustache's out of bread. (whole grain non wheat bread because Mickey is suddenly allergic to EVERYTHING! its horrible!)

But she enjoys it anyways

And then Mickey and Michael picked up the pace while Emily and I were left panting behind. Emily said once "athlete of the year and I can't even climb a mountain!" but it was nice being able to talk to her and get to know her better. She's a hilarious and very fun girl!! And we were convinced that this was the view at the top...

But it definitely wasn't....so Emily took a picture

we kept climbing. We finally reached the top and Michael and Mickey were waiting for us. Mickey with her nuts. Because she CAN eat nuts, just not peanuts.

Michael climbed around on the rocks and pretended to almost die.

But then he recovered enough to make a 'sexy' pose

As Emily(and I) take pictures.

Emily does a very good impression of Gollum.

Then we gathered for a group pictures as Kathy(Mickey and Michael's youth group leader) took a picture.

On our way down we did some jumping...especially Emily.

And some classic 'running' shots (even though they're jumping around the rocks)

After that I went home and rested my poor muscles for a little while and then went to Ultimate Frisbee and had lots of good times there, and then went to watch Monty Python and the holy grail at Mickey's house(help! I'm being repressed!) and drove Ryan home to Lynnwood. Ryan really is a sweetheart and I hope I'll get to seem him a couple times this year while I'm at the UW.

SO Thursday I did almost nothing. We watched Grease in the evening with Hanna but otherwise I did NOTHING because I was exhausted.

So finally Friday. I took Hanna and Linnea canoeing and we avoided the naked man that lurks at the arboretum(he's really scary in a mask and everything!) and then went to my dad's house so I could watch some stuff on the aftermath of the hurricane. I really hope the situation will improve down there, and I can't even imagine what I would do under the circumstances.
Jillian and I hung out on the beach for about two horus talking about lots of things(like her alcoholic roommate). But on the beach we found some odd little pagan temple things...
And yes, that's a rock for a head...its odd.
Then tonight I played Apples to Apples with Rob(stepdad), my mom, Linnea, Hanna, and Linnea's friends Robin and Sara. Soooo hilarious. I'm definitely bringing that game to college because I was literally crying from laughing so hard. (speaking of college I need to start buying stuff that I need for my dorm room and for life in general)
Then I went over to Mickey's until 11:45 to say goodbye(she leaves tomorrow morning for Spokane!) And Amy, Alice, Mickey and I lay out on the front yard talking about college, boys, marriage(someday!), and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and also remembering times we had together and people we made friends with this year that we'll miss. And then we took some parting shots.

And Alice and her Mr. Ugly. She and Amy says its an asian thing..but its a seal stuffed animal inside a wharthog... She takes it EVERYWHERE

So that's it. Long picture post. Good week with a lot of friends(and some new faces like Hanna and Emily!) I really hope I stay friends with all these people. It will be tough but its sad that I met a lot of people this past year that I've come to be friends with. I'd like to type some of the things we were talking about today(like future and stuff) but I'm really tired now and I think its almost pointless because I've already discussed it through with people today.
Talking is good.
