RIP Rose Henderson
I just found out my neighbor died. I actually thought of going to visit her today or tomorrow, but I hadn't asked my mom yet whether we could go. But I guess it would have been really bad had we shown up because she died on Thursday. She's the only neighbor I would really talk to, so its sad. She was 90 and she hasn't been doing so well and has been in a nursing home the past couple months. I haven't seen her since me and my mom visited her right after I graduated and showed her my prom picture and stuff('cause before she was sick I told her a bit about all the prom drama). I also took that one picture of her for photography that people seemed to like. It was hard to print, but worth it.
She also told me to be careful I wasn't too smart, 'cause then the boys wouldn't like me, but she was really excited about my scholarship and seemed to really like talking to me. She also gave me this stationary set for a graduation set which she bought before she was really sick, and her daughter brought over. (we visited her a couple weeks after that). I kind of thought she'd get better 'cause she was such a tough woman with good health until the past couple months. But now she's gone, and my neighborhood will be a little sadder without her.
