(no subject)
So the cat loves water, apparently. His favorite trick is to jump into the wet bathtub and peer at me from over the rim. Its both cute and creepy.
I went to my first UVA football game over the weekend. They played the University of Southern CA, so um, yeah, needless to say UVA lost. By a lot. I did get to see them make their only touchdown though! Also, what they say about students here at football games is very true: they really were wearing sundresses and shirts + ties, and they really do get obnoxiously drunk. There were also a lot of people in jeans and tshirts, so it wasn't awkward that I wore mine, but it was still amazingly surreal.
ALSO, this past weekend I LOOKED AT CONDOS. TO BUY. FOR MYSELF. Its all very exciting and I've decided that I'd rather have a one bedroom condo and not rent a room out to someone else. Of course, I fell in love with the most expensive ones that we looked at, but we also only looked at a total of four complexes. I need to do more research and also call back the place I liked and tour a bunch of their condos again.
In other news, I've started lifting weights and going to the gym more regularly. I've even joined a kickboxing class, which was a TON of fun but also really intense. My goal is to not have to stop midway through the workout by the end of the semester. I'm finding the whole thing to be a good stress reliever though, and hopefully I won't feel disgustingly out of shape after awhile.
So I guess its back to the grind for me. I have a ton of stuff to do.
OH WAIT ONE MORE THING. Med students are obnoxious because they ask dumb questions and wear their white coats to class.
