It's not over yet

I know a lot of people are excited of Obama winning the nomination, and I am too in a way, but its not over yet. If you truly feel that he's the right person for the job, get out there and talk about it. I'm just so afraid that people are going to ignore the rest of the process now, and then BAM we've got another crazy, corrupt guy in office.

I'm getting kind of bogged down by what looks like sexism. OK, fine, if you voted against Clinton because of her politics, I can totally understand that. What I can't understand is the comments of her being a 'shrew' etc. I really am starting to think that if she were male, a lot of the problems that people have with her would just disappear. Not all, mind you, but a lot.

WEREN'T YOU GUYS SUPPOSED TO HAVE HAD THIS ALL FIGURED OUT BY THE TIME I BECAME AN ADULT?!

i think less people are against her because she's a woman than people are for her because she's a woman. that's still sexism, i realize.

i don't like her because i sense ZERO sincerity and i don't like that.

Honestly, I was wary of Obama for the longest time because the speeches that people were saying were AMAZING read like 'blah blah blah HOPE blah blah blah PUPPIES UNICORNS RAINBOWS blah blah blah.'

I'm totally on board with him now but it took a lot of sifting through the obamabots and figuring out what the hell he means to do with the job.

I do agree that the people voting for her because she's a woman are just as scary. I'm getting inklings that people are willing to vote for Mccain over Obama because of this, which is just disgusting.

Whatever. We have a great candidate. I just hope that this wasn't the ONE serious attempt we'll have for another few decades at a viewing a candidate without gender involvement. I mean that was quite a nomination run, right?

First time I've heard mention of McCain as corrupt? How so?

Corrupt was probably not the correct word to use. I dislike him the way I do most insincere politicians: in the sense that he says what he thinks his voters will want to hear when they want to hear it, without conviction nor any real history or evidence for it. This is pretty clear just from his stance on some science and religion based issues ( ... )
