LJ is getting a little too quiet. I vow to update more with pictures.

Recently the fam decided to have a BBQ at my cousin's backyard (okay driveway). It took pretty long to get the charcoal going so my dad flamed the satay with his powerful lighter. Here's a picture of the process:



The meat was cooked perfectly but there wasn't that smokey taste that comes from fanning the charcoal patiently.
Ah well.
