Still kicking!
Still around. A lot has changed. My fiance died in December 2020 due to a motorcycle accident in May of 2020. My 'best friend' said I was asking too much to expect her to do what she promised about my first birthday after his death. Since I was turning a significant number, she promised to make it an amazing birthday, but she 'forgot' and decided to schedule a vacation instead. The fun bit is that her birthday is two days after mine and we had vacationed together several years in a row for birthdays. So, that was extra hard. No 'best friend' and no Sun and Stars for me.
But, I am still swimming. I am a member of the cast of the MD Renaissance Festival and have many beloved friends. I went to see Suzy Eddie Izzard with one such dear friend on Monday night. I am looking for a new job and I really like where I am living. My cats, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, continue to delight and frustrate me. I have started collecting fountain pens (very small collection, but it is happy-making). My parents are aging, but still around and I visit them as often as I can. I love them dearly and want to make the most of the time I have.
