(no subject)
Ho'k, since my last entry there have simply been to many random things happening. Whilst I was out shopping (during which I didn't get totally battered which is obviously a good point, but I didn't get all my shopping done so have to go again at soon which is a bad point) my aunt called me to say that she's pregnant again! I totally freaked out and there was much 'Oh my God'ing and congratulations going on. I was trying my best not to shriek in the shops but somehow I don't think it worked. So i'm hopefully going to be having another lil cousin next July, which is going to be a crazy month, what with the 21st and all. But woo! Saturday night I was persuaded to go to the pub and whilst there Lizzy texted me to see how things were etc, and at some point during the texting back and forth, it emerged that she's quit uni. No explanation, just 'quit uni and have been job hunting this week'. Obviously I don't know her reasons for it, but it does seem rather silly to quit in your final year. Oh well, that's my opinion anywho. I really should seriously go up to Sheffield before Christmas and see people, i'm such a shitty friend.
Another more disturbing thing that has happened involves the bus driver. The bus I get home is driven by the same guy Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays and we usualy say hey hows it going to eachother and I usually bitch about the bus being 20 mins late everyday. Somehow, the bus driver got it into his head that I might want his phone number. So on Monday just before I get off, he writes his number on the back of a bus ticket, writes 'text me' and gives it to me as i'm getting off and says 'make sure you text me tonight'. Me being totally freaked, practically runs off the bus and all the way up the hill in the snow. Today I made a big point of avoiding talking to him and when I got off the bus and didn't say anything, he actually looked quite upset. I'm getting Doug to meet me on Friday when I get off the bus and next week onwards i'm taking a different route to and from work. This may seem slightly extreme, but as said, i'm freaked.
