So, like, you guys? Remember way back in the day when I told you all about my Surfer Dentist and all the pain I was in after having a couple fillings? Well listen to this terrifying tidbit:
This nurse I work with goes to the same dentist as I do. She actually recommended them to me when my filling crumbled as being really good at getting people in for emergencies - which they were, but since then dumbness and hairy chests. Anyway, this nurse just went to have some major oral surgery done there a couple weeks ago and they messed up her teeth so badly she now has to go to some very special specialist at the U to try to fix her teeth. She can't talk, she can't eat solid foods and the new surgery to fix the old surgery is going to cost some ridiculous amount around the $13,000 mark. I would not be surprised if a malpractice suit comes out of this.
Last time I was in, the dentist told me I needed a crown. Now, tell me: does anyone know a good dentist around here so I don't end up having to sell all my worldly belongings when they accidentally pull my nose out through my mouth and I have to fly to Baltimore to have it fixed?
