Summer
Has been quite nice thus far, cross- country
started june 5th, and i've actually enjoyed
it. i hope this season has much more in
store for me than it normally does.
unfortunately i will just have to wait and
see. Vacations have consisted of Rocky Pointe
and Texas. Home has consisted of some
amazing times & drama which i guess comes
with life. Fortunately, however, i have not
been involved. i get to be a bystander this
time which is quite nice. Except for watching
everyone around you fall apart, knowing that
this could be the end of all the happy times
you have all had together. it's really sad.
but at the same time, nothing gets dealt
with if no one brings it up. Weird way to
view that situation, but i guess you have
to make the best out of the worst? because
a wise man once told me that "Life goes on."
So you just have to buckle up and enjoy the
ride. Which i think i'm starting to figure
out that you can't sweat the small stuff so
much. Forget name calling and talking behind
people's backs because we're not in the 3rd
grade anymore.. Seriously, in the real world
popularity will get you nowhere and how you
treat people will effect your success in life.
i wish i would have figured this out
before. i've also decided i've made some of
my best friends this summer, people i can't
imagine how i got through my life without.
Yet somehow i find myself drifting apart from
someone who is without a doubt one of the
most important people in my life. And knowing
that i have no control over the situation
kills me, because even though "life goes on"
i want that person to move through life by
my side instead of watching from the side-
lines. This person always underestimates how
much i truly love and care about them and
that hurts me even more. But overall summer
has been a success and i have yet to
go and get my permit test so i feel so behind
everyone else. Haha. But that means i only
have more to look forward to than the rest
of you :) ha! ummm, kaitie hau moves back in
8 days and i couldn't be any happier. Even
if the rest of my summer was a disaster, that
would completely just make my summer the most
amazing summer in the world. well, i have to
go sort through all my old shtuff so HAGROTS (Have A Good Rest Of The Summer.. DUH!)
