Oakland trip
We started off yesterday morning to Oakland Museum's California Art exhibition for my art class. It contained paintings, sculptures, photograph art pieces relating to California...Some pieces that I found interesting... Afterwards we ate at their restaurant and took a stroll through the rest of the museum. They had a special exhibit on Yosemite, and I was trying really hard to appreciate every piece of painting...but still I couldn't get some. We saw Ansel Adams, Bierstadt, Helm... We also went to their history and natural sciences section, which seemed really small and geared for kids.
Then we went to Oakland Chinatown for the Medical exam, for which the doctor was over an hour late. The whole checkup was over pretty fast, thank god. We wantdered around Chinatown a bit afterwards, it was really cool, very crowded and busy, reminded me of chennai..
