Youth are the next generation to seize control and therefore empowerment is important. We have the capabilities of any adults and have the power to make a difference and have been. Youth have been changing this world and not being recognized for their efforts. This has been going on since the beginning of time. Many youth can do the work of adults and at times they should be the ones doing it. Especially in tobacco control this is the movement to protect the youth of today and prepare them for a better future. Youth have the opportunity to empower themselves, through non-profit organizations, as a whole and need to take part of this movement in order to make a difference.
