(no subject)
good god my sister in law just called me and i'm scared of my sleeping situation for when i go back this summer.
she is pregnant and will be having her kid this summer. this is a bit of a problem for where i'm gonna sleep.
currently my niece (who is like turning 6) wants to move into my bedroom, which we call the blue bedroom. if she does this, then the new baby will have her old room. WHERE WILL I GO???
the other bedroom is my brother and sister in laws, the other bedroom is my parents, which is where i could sleep but when they come in the summer who knows where the hell i will go. there is another bedroom as well, but that has been turned into the office. i wish the office was still on the main ground, but instead that has turned into simran's play room.
somehow there manages to be five bedrooms, none of which i will be able to sleep in.
my sister in law told me not to worry b/c simran is willing to stay in her bedroom for now and sleep w/ the baby b/c as of now she refuses to sleep in her bedroom and spends most nights on a mattress on the floor in my brother and sister in law's room. i guess worst possible situation i will sleep in my niece's room while she sleeps elsewhere.
added to this fact is that my family always plays musical beds. in my home in ns, in my sister's house and in my brother's house. no one can stick to their beds! it's always a commotion.
even in my sister's house, i used to have a bedroom but now my eldest nephew has that bedroom, the other bedroom is delegated to my other nephew, then there's my sister and brother in law's bedroom, there's another bedroom but that's my parent's bedroom which i can sleep in, but when they are there i am delegated to the bedroom in the basement! good god!
some nights when i am at my sister's place, and i am about to sleep in my parent's bedroom, her husband will take my bedroom b/c my eldest nephew has crawled into bed w/ them and he can't sleep, so then i shuffle off to sleep w/ my sister, my nephew will be kicking so then my sister goes into another room, so i end up in this huge bed w/ my nephew and he doesn't let me move, so then i move into his bedroom into his kiddie bed. it's basically a nightmare.
