Ready to suffocate in fluff? Prepared to drown in a non-stop binge-fest of pop music? Good. Because this is by far the fluffiest, poppiest mix I’ve ever made, and am ever likely to make in the future.
Alex Fielding is an awesome character. She’s brilliant and gorgeous and brave and totally kickass. She’s sweet and fragile and wounded and wary. She’s got a Scottish accent, which I don’t need to point out is beyond hot.
She’s also hopelessly, helplessly in true epic love with her geeky, dorky, equally brilliant and horribly socially inept best friend. Tony loves her too, but things can’t possibly be that simple, of course. So, they do what any OTP worth their fluff does; they carry on denying everything, gazing hopelessly at one another and just generally annoying every other character on the show with their repressed epic love.
(I fully intended to make an accompanying evidentiary picspam of the many moments Alex spends gazing adoringly at Tony, but there were way too many. You’ll just have to take me at my word (and my icon) regarding the epicness of this love.)
In lieu of finishing some fluff pieces I’ve been working on for this most adorable of couples, I’ve thrown together this very sappy mix, inspired entirely by Alex’s awesomeness and the aforementioned epic love.
