I can't even comprehend how much I like Eleven. The guy's only had 20 seconds of screentime, and I already think he's The Best Thing Ever. I love that he seems to be playing The Doctor as a kind of eccentric, slightly-doddering-but-brilliant weirdo (as opposed to DT's rather dashing and confident Ten, whom I still love, of course).
It might sound extremely odd, and it's probably because I've been screencapping Wire In The Blood, but there's something about Eleven which is reminding me of Tony Hill. It's that kind of 'my brain is so brilliant that I can't even get my thoughts into any semblance of order' off-the-wall eccentricity that I just ADORE. I know someone somewhere said that they were going for a 'eccentric old professor' feel for Eleven, that he's going to be a wise old Doctor in a young, slightly awkward body, and I just really love this concept.
I guess I just have a thing for unconventionally-handsome, somewhat odd-looking, super-intelligent, socially awkward quasi-weirdos. But that's cool, right?
