More Kitty Stuff
So, our little Ash is currently in surgery. I finally found, last night, what has been making him favor his leg. There's a not-too-small puncture wound just to the left of his tail. So I called the vet this morning and took him in. The doc shaved the area, and there was a not-too-small abscess to go along with the hole in his hide (by not small abscess, I mean about the size of a serving spoon...) Anyway, they need to lance and drain it and get him on antibiotics.
I guess that would explain why Snickers thinks he smelled funny enough to growl at all the time. Poor kitty. I wish I would have found it sooner, but Ash keeps himself well groomed enough and with that Russian Blue double coat - its tough to see their skin.
Sigh - hopefully this will go well and we'll have two cats that get along again.
