Life has been. That's about it. It's just been.

This Saturday's my birthday. I plan to do something rioteous and fun. Hopefully there will be photos and what not. I forget how old I'll be. I actually have to do the math to get to it. Houston is one of the places I'm thinking of going to on Saturday to get away and relax or party. I also want to get a hair cut.

For those of you interested in going to the Con this year:

I've been looking at the hotel, La Pensione. It's not too far from things and kinda funky in it's decor. The best part is I seemed to have worked out a really good deal for my hotel room. They offer a two room dealio and it's only about ten dollars more it costs to stay at a campsite. I've decided I want the freedom of being able to dump my stuff somewhere and not carry seventy billion bags of stuff around. The thing of it is, you have to pay for parking. We found that parking is free if you stay at a park and ride for the tram. Parking should be kinda on the expensive side again this year because as new hotels have gone up, parking spots are at a premium. The other thing of it is that you have to ride the trolly or walk a little (not much, but some people are really adverse to using their feet). I want to go and see more this year and have freedom to do it and not be dependent on anyone.

So I'm considering some other options because others will be with me and won't like hiking it a bit. I've been looking at Hotel Circle, which will have free parking but you'll have to drive to the con or take a very convienient trolley to and fro. If you get cracking now, you'll see their are almost no deals going on for these places. I'm going to do some research into this though and let others know. It's far better to save room in car for stuff you get at the Con than lugging tents.

I also am not adverse to making reservations for KOA again.

Let me know if your interested. I think we can get a pretty good package deal if we try. If not I'm booking for me and that's that.

I'm already looking forward to this vacation. This year has been a really hot year. I've discovered I'm allergic to my cats and had to get rid of them. Well, sorta. I still got one. He won't leave until he's dead. I can't part with the Meeko creature. Plus, this stupid testing bullshit is getting on my nerves.
