Okay - been tagged by galeana to do this:
List five songs that you are currently digging. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good. But they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your five songs. Then tag five other people to see what they're listening to.
Hmmmmmm interesting!!
Okay here goes:
1. Goodbye My Lover - James Blunt. I first heard this song when some very talented soul did a Dr Who music video to this. It's superb - very tear-jerking.
2. Into the West - Annie Lennox - it's a reminder of the wonderous Lord of the Rings and a quite stunning song as well.
3. Speechless - Michael Jackson. This is on his "Invincible" album that was universally criticised but I liked it ..and this song is simply beautiful.
4. Now We are Free - Hans Zimmer/Lisa Gerrard. This is from the soundtrack of Gladiator - most people know this as that haunting piece played when Maximus dies and is carried off. I don't know what the words mean - it's apparently a mix of languages in there but it's quite beautiful.
5. Thunderbirds Are Go - Busted. Couldn't resist putting this one in there! it's SOOOOO much fun!
That's my five - and it sucks that I can't choose more. I'd like to have put something by Barry Manilow...the Rasmuss...linkin Park ....in there but I ran out of space.
Now I have to tag five more people to do this ...okay:
