So yeah, Riley won't get her nails trimmed without a muzzle anymore. She's been doing so much better, I had her up on the chair working through them, but I quicked the last rear toenail (of course it was the last one), and she open-mouth muzzle punched me in the face. Oy. (And I refuse to be one of those in-denial dog owners who think their dog could never bite after even several of those). Either that or we go back to her on her back between my legs, that also works well and keeps her teeth much further from my face, but I've gotten away from it this last year since it requires more shoulder mobility.

Yes, please, I'd like to keep my face intact.
