I had signed up to work and have a few runs at a match over the weekend, and it ended up being cancelled due to horrible road conditions (freezing rain over ice, on the dirt roads around her facility). Oy! I was at the "oh, why did I sign up?" stage of my dog show nerves, so part of me was relieved, and part of me is really sad. I'm hoping to make

Yes...but. To restrict him to only a small area where he couldn't run isn't a viable long-term solution, he's a high energy boy and he needs good outdoor exercise. He eats snow on walks too. In fact, the best he does is while playing frisbee, it's hard to eat snow when you are carrying a frisbee in your mouth (he still manages some, hah). Right now, I don't care so much as long as he keeps his pee outside. Yes.

My first aussie Ruben would eat snow to obsession too. Then, yes, peeeeeee and peeeee and peeeee, he actually didn't concentrate his urine at all, ever. So peeing was something of an obsession as well.
I once went hiking with Heather along a really cute wooded stream and he drank a ton of water (and pee'd enough I thought) until we stopped afterward to get a bite to eat and Ruben peed in the cup holders of my car,... Thanks Rube.

I'm totally not letting Jodah see this. NO IDEAS, Jodah!

The worst he's done is pee on the memory-foam bathmat I keep in the living room, and serves dual function as his "go to your mat" place and my cushion for some PT exercises. It wouldn't have been so bad if I had noticed before I knelt in it.

Yeah, I get back in the car and go to set my to-go cup in the holder and it's FILLED TO THE TOP! (there are two in that cup holdy place) and I'm all "whaaa??? what IS that??" I mean, you'd never think it would be THAT MUCH... and I'm trying to figure it all out and I look back at Ruben and it dawns on me... ewwwwww
