The actual monitor is cracked? Or is it that the screen that should pop up is screwed up?

oh... ok. Well, if the screen is unusable, it's possible to hook a laptop up to an ordinary computer monitor. I've got a friend downstairs who's laptop screen doesn't work, and he just hooks it up to a regular VGA monitor. Otherwise... I'm not sure how you could fix a cracked monitor. I've actually never seen one that's been cracked.
