Has a lazy, contended and also thrumming excited feel. It felt strange to read of older gents doing the caning game. I felt myself gently chiding me, of course these gents do what they have always done as long as they are able! *smile* I loved it. For their age, their love, the normalcy of it, yet still the thrill of the game. Also the turnabout of first the game, and then the returning home with the shopping and gossip...laced together with those quaint little signs of home.

A love that is home, yeah, Samuel and Thomas have built that together *sniffles*

You did this very well. The descriptions drew me in and I was there watching like a ghost. Even the chill in the air did it.

Had to go back and re-read how he did the first part. So he walked down the street and looped back for the role play scene? That was a nice twist at the end. My mind caught that he picked up the basket that was there handily as if it were his own home and thought maybe the basket travels between houses. *grins* Nope. It and he lives there.

I don't know if you've ever written this genre before but from my volumous reading you did it excellently and with a sensitivity that just because people get old doesn't mean they stop wanting and having sex in ways they like. This was cozy and satisfying.

Oh THANKS. I've read very few of the genre, as in maybe five fics! but hoped I handled it right. I figured age added a steadying hand, but age doesn't really change who people are and it's only a part of who these men are.

I opened the link a few hours ago, but didn't have time to read it until just now, so I didn't see the second warning. I was really looking forward to no zombies.

The first time I totally didn't notice your 'looped around' clues and was agitated and upset that the 'no zombie' story had cheating in it, but after reading the comments I am much relieved. I read it again later once I've calmed down.

I went back and added the bdsm warning, sorry it wasn't there from the beginning, I really don't like upsetting anyone and feel bad that this has upset you.

The Zombies fics are a bit of fun, mine are always tagged november-zombies so easy to skip.

Never write cheating, I couldn't make the character sympathetic as it's something I feel strongly about. This is an established couple role-playing.

Actually I remember what gave me the idea, I caught a bit of a tv show that was talking to an elderly man in a pvc maid's costume about his liking for spanking. The feel of the show was a bit freak-show and I liked the idea of showing a couple where that was just part of who they were.
