My hubby wants (really, really wants) one of these shirts for dress down day in work!
Mentioned them to Saskia so thought I'd share the link *o*

ShiteShirts

That's the name actual name of the shirts!
The panels are made of random materials, you send in your size and get whatever they send you.  Click to see the pictures, they're funny ^__^

babble, funny

Of course I immediately went and had a look. *giggles* That is an awesome concept that is!

If he wore THAT at the airport, I'd know it was him without any need for embarrassing posters *giggles*

LOL isn't it a fun idea though?

It wouldn't get here in time, because there isn't long to go *BOUNCE*

I think I will get him one for his birthday though ;)

mmmm *blush* I have a gypsy skirt which is that colourful and patterned! *blush* To hell with fashion and clothes that suit a person's shape, it makes me happy :p
But it is home/garden clothing ;)

Hubby assures me one of the boys he works with already has one :D

I think it's a great idea :)

I am hipster enough to WANT.

I wonder if I could buy a few cheap shirts second-hand and make one? There has to be a way someone on a student budget can manage this... *ponders*

(Because $50+ for a shirt? Ouch.)

I have loads of material here but not sewn since school.

That's why it's be a gift. My general idea of clothes shopping I could get jeans, a sweater and have change for a fancy coffee! but then I avoid brands...

Hubby though would wear it to work every Friday with a big grin :)

I can sew for dolls; not sure about people! But if I frankensteined a few existing shirts, it'd be a lot easier, especially since I don't have a machine.

I go to K-Mart and buy kids clothes. It's so much kinder on my bank account. Then again most branded cis guy clothes don't fit me anyway, which is probably good because there's some brands I like the look of. But I can't justify the prices.

Go your hubby. That'd be so damn awesome.

I have the mad urge to make you a patchwork waistcoat (easier) now! But I don't think I have the skillz needed...maybe if you were nearer and it could be pinned to you *cough* I mean on you *giggle* to be sure it would fit.

His birthday is in April, I post pics when it arrives ;)

I rather like that random patchwork look. Strange, bright summer dresses could be made on similar lines. Fright Frocks

*lightbulb* how are you at sewing?
LOL I think if I attempted to make one it would end up as a fright frock. But I love the idea and the name ^o^

Sadly, my sewing skills are meagre at best (I was banned from the sewing machine in Home Economics). I too would create a true fright frock. Ah well, the idea was there...
