Nicely done. Doorway bonus! I remember being on the 17th floor in a hotel in the Philippines in a similar predicament. A couple BURST into the hallway (where the rest of us were busy standing in the various doorways, except for the floor captain who was reading a paper with his feet up) saying "IT'S AN EARTHQUAKE" and the amused captain said "Yes Ma'am." Very succinctly, and kept reading, while the drunk man staggered off the elevator completely oblivious, slipped his hotel keycard into its slot and headed into his room, presumably to pass out. Bewildered, they stood in the middle of the hall, one in a towel, the other in a sheet until my mother quietly suggested they stand in the doorways as they were reinforced.
