Well, it's the most significant inauguration of my life thus far, and I'm watching it on t.v. while I edit a few articles. Very much want to watch the event-- getting rid of the worst president ever, and hopefully bringing in one of the best -- however, I'm glad I'm not there. I like the perspective it gives me to experience the transition at a further remove than most Americans.
I wore my t-shirt with Obama's face to work this morning -- a few of the students I passed noticed and smiled. Most of the Americans who work here are in front of their televisions. Now I'll get back to mine.
