Sometime around the middle of May I sent my manuscript to critiquers and received some helpful feedback. I knew I had a big job ahead of me, so I took a deep breath, did some thinking, and then started on the revision. Today, after almost three months of BIC hours a day, I finished. (I still have to proofread.) This manuscript has taken me 3 1/2 years. Gulp. I have had several false starts, one completed and revised manuscript I discarded, and now this. I did not think I'd ever be able to figure it out. I still don't know what's going to happen--whether I'll get it published or not, but the joy comes from knowing I did it.
