I am about half-way through this round of revisions. Last night everything I wrote seemed funny. I think I was tired.
I used the shrink method to revise the first hundred pages. I shrunk the font to 10 pt (8pt hurts my eyes) , removed spaces, and printed the manuscript. Then I color coded different parts so I could see what was where. I have three main threads that are supposed to come together toward the end. When the pages are spread out, I can easily see what is where. Next I read through these pages and made comments. Finally I revised on the lap top after changing the manuscript font and enlarging it to 125%.
Yesterday I gave the puppy a rawhide chew. She usually hides chews under the couch and barks at them. This time she chewed on it. After a while, my husband said, "Why is she breathing funny?" He opened her mouth and saw the chew stuck at the back of her throat. He pulled it out. I had never imagined that a rawhide chew would do that. Puppy gets no more chews. BTW, puppy is hugh and has very strong jaws.
Although I was hesitant, I have used the prong collar when training. It doesn't bother her at all. She walks politely at my side, and now we both enjoy being outside. She never got used to the Gentle Leader.
I hope everyone is having a nice day.
