(no subject)
The puppy has been pouting since we returned from dog training class last night. For most of the class she wagged her tail. Toward the end the trainer recommended a Gentle Leader headcollar for the puppy so I can control her on walks. I had tried this collar two months ago and I had a hard time even getting it on it. Anyway, I am trying it again. This morning I took puppy outside and she lay on the grass pouting. I sat down to out wait her (as recommended in the training video.) Unfortunately that did not work. I should have brought treats. The puppy has also had two "accidents" in the house, and she had been house trained from almost the time we got her.
I found out from facebook that my youngest son (the one living at home and commuting to college) is going to CA for a fantastic nine month internship. (BTW that is 2000 miles from me) Hopefully he will tell me about it when he returns from the beach. My other two are already in CA in college.
