Maid of Bond Street
We have jobs!!! Today, I got a part time job standing out on the corner in a silly costume with a sign waving at people and Karen got a part time job doing tax stuff. Our hours are iffy and they're min wage, but between the two of us we should just barely be able to make ends meet. I'm still looking for a second job, we'll see how that goes. We're lucky to have these, even if they're just seasonal. We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for better and more longterm things. See, and people bitch about taxes... if it weren't for taxes we'd both still be unemployed.

Times like these are scary for everyone. Craigslist is a godsend. For others struggling like we are, I've had the local jobs page up in my browser and refresh it all the time. That's how I got my sign waving gig. Which will be very good for my self conciousness issues, I think, heh! ;) Whew.... it's not much, but it's something and I'm incredibly grateful to get any job at all right now!
