Sadly, today I saw a lone doe with a broken back leg... it looked like it was hanging by a tendon and I was horrified... no idea what to do... she could be anywhere in the neighborhood by now, and god... I'd honestly rather see roadkill than an animal suffering like that... I'm glad Goliath didn't scare her and make her try to run...
