To the flame filled sunset
My mental capability to respond to comments and posts is only gonna decrease from here. Just so ya know. I'll catch up someday... maybe. :P We feel a bit insane, time is closing in, and we're running around like crazy. Also, I am out of Jasmine tea and honey. T_T I don't wanna pack or clean, I just wanna curl up and sip tea and no amount of midol or pamprin will change this. Urgh.
The electricity has cut off and on twice in the last 12 hours.
However, we did have a fantastic Sat with teh Amarin! *kidnaps her!* We ran a few errands, popped into Pratts and visited the critters there. Finally, the potbellied piglets were there when Karen was! <3 Also so many cute bunnies... it was from that very bin that Unut was once scooped. Some very sweet calico-ish baby lops slayed us, and I dubbed a black and white lionhead bunny Beethoven because he had quite the conductor's do. They had baby English lops too! Kyoot dumbo ears. It's sad because I hate that the place sells them ("Awh, what a cute throw away pet for my 4 year old!") but I love getting to cuddle and coo at them myself. Love/hate pet stores. Many many cute birdies as well, but no goats or emu that day.
We then hung out at Amarin's being entertained by the quail and watchin some movies. :D Ones in which she would warn of eyeball stuff, but everything else we were on our own no matter how much we whined, lol! We're pretty good at figuring out when not to look though. The Saw series *is* extremely clever though, I'm glad we saw them at her place and managed to be minimally traumatized. Karen and I love scary movies, but torture/splatterpunk we don't handle well at all... we're more the suspenseful low budget The underlying idea was fascinating though! She also lent us Criminal Minds, which is a lot of fun (<3 Mandy Patinkin)! Although you can tell our minds are on house hunting and nesting. As a serial killer creeps into the unwitting home we go "Wow... what a beautiful kitchen!! I want a counter like that! Ooh, hardwood floors!" .... yeah, we have problems.
Some of Karen's folks are pouncing us this weekend right before we leave, which is awesome and horrifying all at once, lol! I want to see them but OMG we're hitting the road Monday!!
