I forgot to mention a series we just finished watching!
The Future is Wild. OMG cute! Same artists who did Walking With Prehistoric Beasts and other such delights, with such a fun insane "What If" creative twist! Basically guessing where evolution *could* take things given what we know about Earth's past. It was awesome. And just got weirder and weirder with each episode. The nature/animal lover and sci-fi fangirl in me squeed muchly. It was such a wonderful combination!
My only complaint really is that they didn't go far enough. They only did 3 species in each environment, and then stopped at a *really* interesting point! I want to see cephalopod civilization dammit! I *loved* where it was heading and I wanted to see it!! I adore cephalopods, they're so strange and colorful and clever! The Squibbon throwing stuff to save the baby were epic. Moar, I say! I'm so fascinated with this that a part of my brain is working on taking it further for me. If it succeeds, I will post pics when I can. ^_^ <3
And apparently when scientists can't name stuff after somebody they get silly. Sharkopath? Really? LOL
Also, possible gall bladder problem? I'm 95% sure it's
GERD. Turns out like my entire family has it and I just wasn't in the know. So I started taking Prilosec in the morning and drinking stomach ease herbal tea at night, and it really helps a lot. ^_^ So that's a happy thing. Like everything, I'm encouraged to eat small meals more often but the Italian in me can't seem to figure out how this is possible. :P Does not compute. It's good though that I'm not big on spicy food.
I <3 this song. It was on the radio driving Karen to work (vet apointment today!) along with another bunch of awesome tunes. Gonna have to relearn the good stations in CO! I adore the vid's surrealist imagery to go with!
