And red mutant eyes gaze down on Hunger City

We are so smart. S-M-R-T.

Down side to not celebrating major holidays is that we forget little things. Little things like "You know, I bet the grocery store will be closed on the 24th and the 25th. Perhaps take-out places will also be closed. It would be prudent to buy some food before then." :P

The up side to this was that we experimented and made popcorn on the stove using ghee and splenda, and OMG YUM! Cheaper and yummier and more kernels popped than the microwave stuff, we are so doing that again. We oiled the pan with ghee, popped the corn then dusted it with splenda and shook it up... Mmmm.... so good. We've had a bag of regular popcorn laying around for ages because I'd gotten it when I forgot the popcorn popper had returned to Goodwill from whence it came. So we didn't starve, yay us! And we have groceried since then, and are now in food again. :)

I'm still behind on artwork, because the hot washcloth thing not only doesn't seem to be helping my eyes that much, but also makes my eyesight a lot worse for a little while after. I keep staring at Pashupati wondering if it looks blurred because of my eyes, or because I'm painting it blurry. Urgh. I should work on the novel some more.... after Seadreamer hits lvl 30. :P I know, I know... but she's only 5 bars away before she can turn into a cheetah! Kahani's only one lvl away from 70, which is awesome, but will take a lot longer. Also, I should upload and post pictures.

holidays, health, gaming
