We have air conditioning and huge snake enclosures! Wow! We've mostly put them together, and wow... that's a LOT of stretching room for our beauties! Love it! And surprisingly easy to put together, just waiting on the sealant to dry. Then we'll be ready to plug em in, get the heating right, and put in some beauties! They will look so much smaller in these things, lol, I can't wait to have it set up and snap some pics. :) Karen has been having lots of fun with her power drill, lol, that's my fix-it woman.
Course, I'll be taking a LOT of pics this weekend as it's reptile expo time! Woot! :) Karen is almost done with school, the nice weather season is coming up, lots of good stuff. I'm excited! Karen also applied for some new positions, so send some good energy there if you've got some to spare! My brain is a bit all over the place. I've started writing on Medusa again, lots to color, lots to clean, lots to organize, blah blah blah! I'm a little overwhelmed, but in a good way. Gonna be a busy weekend!
Karen and I have also been playing with add-ons and characters in WoW, and I feel like babbling on about my chars (not so much the add-ons, although they do rock!) so I'll do that real quick and get it out of my system.
I am a Horde gal, through and through. I realize this now. I love my Draenei well enough and I'll play them with my Ally pals, but really it's in the Horde that I feel at home. I thought I'd share my 3 faves here. :) Their themes etc (I love me some themes).
Naturally, there's my main Head Huntress Kahani. She's leader of the currently modest, hopefully someday bigger, Wildlife Warriors. RP wise, she's back and forth between laid back and thoughtful and out there go get em enthusiastic. Her mother was a Troll Shaman (she always pronounces it Shamon) and her father a Troll Priest. She was always more drawn to the Druid/nature/animal/Mother Earth side of things though and she was eventually drawn to Thunderbluff to study and dwell with the Tauren Druids there. TB is now her guild's base of operations with support from the Tauren in seeking natural balance in the world of Azeroth. She has a definite reptile theme about her, her Raptor mount, her pet Bindi the albino croc, all of her pets in fact are reptile (wind serpents, serpents) even her vanity pets (Speedy the turtle and a black kingsnake). Beastmaster spec, btw, for those who care.
Pics! A couple of shots I just took of her in Outland where she's currently questing. :)
Next, is Labrys whom I adore. She's on a PVP server I'm not very fond of, but I like her enough that I'll play on there and get to visit with my brother-in-law from time to time. :) I prefer RP servers mainly because you're less likely to get grief for being... well, I dunno, just being. For using full sentences and wanting to be treated with a little respect... It's annoying. I have no problem with PVP in and of itself, in fact I think it's more realistic that way. But the asshattery isn't worth it to me. My brother and I are gonna try out an RPPVP server and see if that's as nice a blend as it sounds like. There's asshats on every server, they just seem to congregate more on the PVP.
ANYway, Labrys was made to be a badass so I can survive in that climate. She's kind of my gay pride character, I guess, which I suppose would be her theme. She is a Warrior, Arms/Fury spec, and wields the two handed axe that she is named after (which I adore). I love it. No real RP background or anything since it's a PVP server, which is a shame she'd be fun for that. I also got sick of Durotaur since I play so many Trolls so she runs around the Undead areas getting in good with Undercity. Hopefully this way she can someday get a skeletal horse from them as a mount - which would only add to her Amazon-ish badassery.
My very first char -who has since been deleted- was a Nelf Druid. I've just never been able to get into the Night Elves. They and the Humans... I just can't. Again, I guess I'm a Horde gal at heart. I made a Tauren Druid as a bank char, but since she is the Wildlife Warrior bank I've never really played her or gotten into her other then to take contributions. So just recently, after trying again to make a Nelf Druid and again just not digging it, I thought I'd give a Tauren Druid a real shot.
Enter Seadreamer and OMG, I love her. She is adorable. I plan to make her a Restokin spec, and basically my healer/magic usin char. She's so cute and spotted... Like a big ol teddybear... minotaur thing. Her theme is water. I want to do blue/green/silver armor and stuff with her as much as possible, and eventually get her the crab vanity pet. Have a kinda sorta background for her, and she's on Sisters of Elune so she may be joining the Wildlife Warriors too. We shall see. :) I love the little spots on her tummy. It's sad to cover all her cute spots with armor (her legs too!) but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Tail!
Ah, good to get that out of my system, lol. Lets see, what else... Linkage.
Hobbit bones - not so much human. New snake species discovered! Warning:
The following is NOT work safe and WILL stick in your head indefinitely. Damn you,
ngb2k! It's been in my head ALL DAY! ;)
